JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – PT Bank Mandiri Tbk (BMRI) revises down its profit target for this year to Rp20 trillion due to the economic slowing down.

The bank revised its profit growth target to 10% and its loan growth target to 13-15% from inital target of 15.17%. BMRI also targets to have capital of Rp114-115 trillion by end of this year.

BMRI is also set to get loan facility of US$1 billion from China Development Bank (CDB), mostly used to fund the infrastructure projects. BMRI has in the first quarter of this year signed loan commitment of Rp64.6 trillion for infrastructure project.

CDB also provides loan of US$1 billion each for PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia Tbk (BBRI) and PT Bank Negara Indonesia Tbk (BBNI).
