Cepu Block Produces 27.000 BOPD

SURABAYA (Indonesia Today) – Rudi Rubiandini, head of Special Working Unit of Upstream Oil and Gas (SKK Migas), stated that oil production from Cepu block, operated by Exxon Mobil Cepu Ltd, increased 22.7% to 27.000 barrels oil per day (BOPD ), compared to previous 22.000 BPOD. The additional of 5.000 BOPD was obtained from early production facility/EPF. Currently production from the block reached 25.000 BPOD to 27.000 BOPD. Under the addition production of the oil and gas, SKK Migas is optimistic that oil production from Cepu block would reach 26,000 BOPD at the end of 2013....

Exxon Mobil Kicks Off Drilling in Banyu Urip Project

JAKARTA (Indonesia Today) – Special working unit of Upstream Oil and Gas (SKK Migas) has inaugurated the project development of oil and gas in Banyu Urip wells, located in East Java. The project begins to drill at 42 wells in Banyu Urip, Cepu block, Bojonegoro. Cepu block is operated by Exxon Mobil Cepu Ltd. Exxon Mobil Cepu has planned to drill 29 production wells and 13 injection wells. The top production of the block of 165,000 barrels of oil per day can be achieved by the end of 2014. Rudi Rubiandini, the Head of SKK Migas, expects first oil production 90,000 barrels per day to start in August 2014. This amount is inclusive of the production of Gas Oil Separation Plant (GOSP), which currently produces about 26,000-28,000 barrels a day. Then, gradually over three months, production will increase to peak at 165,000 barrels per day....
