Barry Callebaut Agrees to Acquire Petra Foods’ Asset

ZURICH (Indonesia Today) – Barry Callebaut agreed to acquire the Cocoa Ingredients Division from Petra Foods Ltd., Singapore. For the purpose of partly financing this acquisition, Barry Callebaut’s Board of Directors called for an EGM today, the shareholders agreed to the creation of authorized share capital of a maximum nominal amount of CHF 9,300,000 by issuing a maximum of 500,000 fully paid-up registered shares with a value of CHF 18.60. The Board of Directors can execute the respective capital increase until April 22, 2015 either by way of a rights issue or a private placement through an Accelerated Bookbuilding. SKK Migas Signs MoU with BPN

JAKARTA (Indonesia Today) – The Oil and Gas Executive Task Force (SKK Migas) has signed Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the National Land Agency (BPN) to speed up the certificate process and handle problems of land assets in oil and gas upstream sector. The MoU was signed by SKK Migas’ head Rudi Rubiandini and BPN’s head Hendarman Supandji in Jakarta, Friday (April 26). The MoU aims to provide legal certainty by giving priority to the Ministry on the implementation of certificate and handling problems of land managed by SKK Migas. Soeryadjaja’s Interra Reports Stabilised Flow Rate in Tanjung Miring

SINGAPORE (Indonesia Today) – Interra Resources Ltd, a company controlled by Edwin Soeryadjaja, through its wholly owned subsidiary, Goldwater TMT Pte. Ltd. (GTMT) has achieved a stabilised flow rate following production testing in Tanjung Miring Timur (TMT) field in South Sumatra. GTMT has 100% working interest in the Technical Assistance Contract of the TMT field and TMT-53 was drilled using an externally contracted rig. Following unrestricted initial flow rates in excess of 1,400 barrels of oil per day (bopd), the Company has endeavoured to optimise the flow rates whereby formation flowing pressure would be maintained and the chance of any potential water break-through be minimised. Chevron Q1 Earnings $6.2 Billion

USA (Indonesia Today) – Chevron Corporation reported earnings of US$6.2 billion for the first quarter (Q1), 2013, compared with US$6.5 billion in the same period of 2012 . Sales and other operating revenue were US$54 billion, down from US$59 billion in the year ago period, mainly due to lower prices for crude oil. Pertamina Signs HoA with PLN

Under the agreement, Pertamina and PLN has agreed the LNG regasification services for PLN’s gas stations in Aceh and Medan. The power stations are excepted to operate by mid of next year.
