JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – Electricity tariff for household (category one) with 1,300 volt ampere (VA) and 2.200 VA power capacity will be raised by 11% or Rp157 per kilowatthour (kWh) starting December 2015.
This is part of tariff adjustment for next month period. Electricity tariff for household (catagory one), not subsidised, is set flat at Rp1352 per kWh but next month this tariff will be raised to Rp1509.
The tariff adjustment mechanism, effective since May 2015, then affects the electricity prices to follow the change in currency exchange (rupiah against dollar), Indonesian crude oil price, and monthly inflation.
