JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – Former Minister of Finance under Soeharto’s New Order regime Ali Wardhana has passed away on Monday (Sep. 14) afternoon at the age of 87, due to illness.
Vice President Jusuf Kalla is expected to visit Ali Wardhana’s private residence this morning at Jalan Patra Kuningan XV No. 6 in South Jakarta, whereas he”ll give his personal condolence to the family of Ali Wardhana before the burial today.
Ali Wardhana was born in Solo, Central Java, on May 6, 1928. He served as Minister of Finance for fifteen years under Soeharto’s administration during the period of 1968-1983. And then, オンライン カジノ he served as Coordinating Minister for Economy, Industry, and National Development affairs from 1983
to 1988.
Ali Wardhana obtained his bachelor degree from University of Indonesia’s (UI) School of Economy in 1958. He then obtained his master and doctoral degrees from University of Berkeley , California, United States of America, in 1961 and 1962 respectively. (haryantosuharman@yosefardi.com)
