JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – The Attorney General HM Prasetyo expressed his disagreement to the plan of the House of Representatives (DPR) Commission III to form a Working Committee (Panja) on the Freeport scandal involving former Speaker of the DPR and Golkar Party lawamker Setya Novanto.
Prasetyo shared his worry saying Working Committee will merely intervene the AGO’s investigation into the Freeport scandal.
Prasetyo reminded the DPR that political process in the DPR to Novanto is already over in the DPR’s Ethical Council (MKD).
Latest, the AGO has summoned Novanto and businessman Mohammad Reza Chalid for an examination session. (haryantosuharman@yosefardi.com)
