JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – Sinar Mas Group targets to get power plant project with capacity of 1,100 megawatts (MW) with investment cost of US$1.3-1.65 billion.
Currently Sinar Mas Group is building some coal-fired power plants with total capacity of 600 MW. It has secured one PLTU project with capacity of 300 MW.
The government also targets 35,000 MW electricity program within next 5 years. Sinar Mas’ unit having capacity to work on PLTU projects is such as PT DSSA Power, subsidiary of PT Dian Swastatika Sentosa Tbk (DSSA).
