JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – Foreign tourists visiting Indonesia reached 825,800 tourists in October 2015, grew 2.11% from 808,800 tourists in October 2014. Compared to September 2015, the figure declined 4.99%.
Total foreign tourists went to Bali, one of the most attractive places in Indonesia, through Ngurah Rai Airport, in October 2015 amounted 366,800 tourists, rose 8.12% from 339,200 tourists in October 2014. Compared with September 2015, the number declined 3.33%.
In January-October 2015 period, foreign tourists visiting Indonesia totaled 8.02 million tourists, grew by 3.38% from 7.76 million in the same period of 2015.
The number of tourists stayed in star hotels in 27 provinces reached an average number of 56.60% in October 2015, up 2.31 points compared to October 2014 (54.29%). Compared to September 2015, the figure was up 0.34 points.
Both domestic and international tourists on average stayed in the star hotels for around 1.92 days in October 2015, down 0.06 points compared to October 2014.
