JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – PT Astra Agro Lestari Tbk (AALI) produced 1.138 million tonds of crude palm oil (CPO) during January-August 2015 period, down 0.3% from 1.14 million tons in the corresponding period of 2014.
The decreasing is caused by the decreased of AALI FFB production which down by
0,9% from 3.7 million tons in 2014 to 3.67 million tons in 2015 and balanced by increasing of external FFB purchasing by 6%.
Meanwhile, AALI Kernel production still decreasing 1,3% compared to the same period last year.
During August 2015, the weakening of global CPO prices impact to the decline on AALI CPO selling price. The average selling price of CPO until August 2015 was Rp7474 per kg, down by 13,1% compared to the same period last year.
AALI CPO sales volume reached 710.879 tons, in which a part of CPO product are converted into olein, therefore the sales volume of olein increased significantly by 85,2%, reaching 255.516 tons.
