JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – Composite index of the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) opened higher this morning but soon turned to negative territory, dropped 0.67% to 4215 after 15 minutes of trading.

Asian stoks were also in red zone. Nymex’s crude oil inched up 0.04% to US$44.93 per barrel in Asian trading this morning while gold fell 0.3% to US$1,150 per ounce.

Adaro Energy fell 1.72%, Alam Sutera declined 1.2%, Bank Rakyat Indonesia lost 3.4%, Bank Negara Indonesia shed 2.2%, Bank Mandiri dropped 3.73%, Bumi Serpong Damai slashed 2.1%, and Charoen Pokphand lost 3.17%.

Other losers were Eagle High Plantations (-3.66%), XL Axiata (-1.9%), Indofood (-1.93%), Indocement (-1%), Jababeka (-1.7%), Lippo Karawaci (-1.78%), United Tractors (-2.3%), and Unilever (-1.76%).

While Telkom gained 1.3%, Timah rose 1.6%, London Sumatra increased 1.14%, Vale Indonesia jumped 5.08%, Indo Tambangraya hiked 1.3%, and AKR Corporindo lifted 1.3%.
