JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – Composite index of the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) opened higher 0.07% to 4349 this morning following regional market, but profit taking hit certain stocks.

Nymex’s crude oil rose 0.9% to US$44.99 per barrel in Asian trading and gold increased 0.15% to US$1,104.30 per ounce.

Astra Agro gained 1.54%, Sentul City jumped 9.46%, Bumi Serpong Damai rose 1.04%, Eagle High Plantations increased 1.13%, Charoen Pokphand hiked 2.3%, Vale Indonesia lifted 2.07%, Indo Tambangraya climbed 1.32%, Lippo Karawaci surged 3.49%, Timah rose 1.68%, Telkom gained 1.1%, and United Tractors increased 2.06%.

The rupiah weakened further 0.3% to US$14,450 against the US dollar this morning, Bloomberg quoted.
