JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – Comr. Gen. Budi Waseso confirmed a big switch of position at the National Police that involving him, Kompas.com reported this morning.
The three-star police general said he got the replacement news last night. Comr. Gen. Anang Iskandar, Budi said, will replace him as new Chief of the National Police’s Criminal Investigation Division (Bareskrim). While he will replace Anang as new Head of the National Narcotics Agency (BNN).
“For me, any position (I’ll be tasked to) is same. I’ll do it with my best,” Budi said.
Budi Waseso, however, said he has not yet received a secret telegram regarding the replacement. But he believes he will soon get the letter.
Budi Waseso graduated from the Police Academy (Akpol) in 1985. He leads the Bareskrim POLRI since Jan. 22, 2015. (haryantosuharman@yosefardi.com)
