JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – Police Ins. Gen. Ronny Franky Sompie has been sworn in as the new Director General of Immigration at the Ministry of Law & Human Rights, Monday (Aug. 10) afternoon.
Ronny replaces Bambang Irawan, who had entered his retirement age since September 2014. Prior to the appointment, Ronny served as Chief of the Bali Police office.
Other than Ronny, Minister of Law & Human Rights Yasonna Hamonangan Laoly also sworn in three other director generals.
They are Widodo Ekatjahjana as new Director General for Legislation, I Wayan Kusmiantha as new Director General for Penitentiary, and Ahmad M. Ramli as Director General for Intellectual Property. (haryantosuharman@yosefardi.com)
