JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – The National Police’s Criminal Investigation Division (Bareskrim Polri) is expected to soon examine former Mayor of Bandung Dada Rosada related to further investigation into corruption case surrounding the construction development of the Gelora Bandung Lautan Api Stadium in Gedebage, Bandung, West Java.
The Chief of the Bareskrim Polri Brig. Gen. Budi Waseso, however, has not yet revealed when the police will summon Dada Rosada.
So far, the Police has just named one suspect in this case, Yayat Ahmad Sudrajat (YAS), former Secretary at the Bandung city administration’s Spatial Planning office.
The Gedebage Stadium was designed specifically for the 2016 National Sports Games (PON). The project was kicked off back in 2009 during the second term of Dada Rosada as Bandung Mayor. But, after almost four
years, construction remained unfinished.
Some news outlets reported that the stadium costed Rp545 billion, while other sources, including Detik.com, reported that the cost reached until Rp1.1 trillion. (haryantosuharman@yosefardi.com)
