JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – Regional bank PT Bank Pembangunan Daerah Kalimantan Barat (Bank Kalbar) posted net profit of Rp145 billion in the first half of 2015, declined 11.38% from Rp163 billion in the same period of 2014.

Net interest income rose 4.02% to Rp451 billion from previous Rp434 billion but operating profit declined 5.94% to Rp195 billion from earlier Rp207 billion.

The bank’s assets grew by 24% to Rp13.92 trillion. Loans increased 3.17% to Rp7.76 trillion. Provision of loans jumped 47% to Rp59 billion from previous Rp40 billion.

Its liability also rose 26.69% to Rp12.36 trillion. Demand deposits increased soared 181% to Rp5.44 trillion while saving accounts dropped 20.97% to Rp3.44 trillion. Time deposits increased 2% to Rp3.13 trillion. (rully@yosefardi.biz)
