JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – National car sales (wholesales) grew by 4.8% to 92,645 units in June 2015, from 88,397 units in May 2015.
For January-June 2015 period, national car sales dropped 18% to 524,860 units, from 642,110 units in the same period of 2014. Retail sales also declined 13.7% to 525,319 units from 608,940 units a previous year.
The Association of Indonesia Automotive Industry (Gaikindo) expects national car sales to reach 1-1.1 million units this year, compared to 1.21 million units in 2014.
