JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – The deadline is only 5 days ahead, no political parties have submitted the report of their compaign funds.
The General Election Commission (KPU) has set the deadline at March 2, 2014 for the submission of campaign funds reports as well as the specific bank accounts belonging to 12 eligible political parties.
KPU Commissioner Ida Budhiati warns that KPU could cancel any political party, if failed to submit the report of campaign funds and specific bank accounts, from contesting in the 2014 election.
As reported earlier, in the efforts to monitoring and combating illegal campaign finance from all contestants of April’s Legislative and July’s Presidential Elections, the KPU had signed Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Anti-Money Laundering Agency PPATK and the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK).
