JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – Composite index of the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) ended higher 0.44% at 4470 Tuesday (Feb 11) led by gains in blue chip stocks. Regional markets also supported sentiment.

Investors focused buying in shares of property developer Alam Sutera, boosted the stock by 5.56% to Rp570 with over 84 million shares exchanged hands.

Coal miners Adaro Energy and Bumi Resources also gained 3.85% and 2.94% respectively. While Jababeka surged 6.48% and Energi Meda soared 11.1%.

Other gainers were Waskita Karya (+4.2%), Aneka Tambang (+2.46%), Bank Mandiri (+2.29%), Bumi Serpong Damai (+1.95%), London Sumatra (+2%), and Trada Maritim (+1.18%).

Nymex’s crude oil increased 0.17% to US$100.23 per barrel and gold rose 0.78% to US$1,284.70 per ounce. The rupiah weakened to Rp12,174 against the US Dollar.
