JAKARTA (Indonesia Today) – PT Bank Permata Syariah, unit of PT Bank Permata Tbk, booked net profit of Rp98.9 billion in the first quarter (Q1) of 2013, surged 69% from Rp58.4 billion in the same period of 2012.
The profit jump was supported by the increase in financing/loan disbursement which soared 160% to Rp10.3 trillion.
Achmad K Permana, head of Bank Permata Syariah, said the bank’s operating profit jumped 73% to Rp103.1 billion while other operating profit grew by 56% to Rp421.2 billion.
As of March 2013, the bank’s assets totaled Rp14.4 trillion while third party funds amounted Rp9.9 trillion. Its CAR stood at 13.41%. (hans@theindonesiatoday.com)
