JAKARTA (Indonesia Today) – Giant coal miner PT Bumi Resources Tbk (BUMI) reported net loss of US$73.44 million in first quarter (Q1) of 2013, declined from loss US$107.16 million in the same poriod of 2012.
Revenue fell to US$942.53 million from previous US$1.01 billion. Cost of revenues reached US$740.08 million, then gross profit was US$202.45 million.
Operating profit reached US$78.71 million. While interest expenses and finance charges amounted US$146.49 million.
Its assets totaled US$7.29 billion while liability amounted US$6.97 billion. (hans@theindonesiatoday.com)
