JAKARTA (Indonesia Today) – Composite index of the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) was moving in a volatile this morning as global growth worries weighed on market sentiment.
At 9.40 am Jakarta time, IDX was flat at 5,012.86. Most regional markets also gained. Nymex’s crude oil rose 0.43% to US$88.11 per barrel in Asian trading this morning.
Alam Sutera rose 0.94%, Telkom gained 0.43%, Matahari increased 1.14%, Bank Bukopin jumped 5.62%, Garuda Indonesia lifted 1.64%, Visi Media climbed 3.28%, Waskita Karya hiked 5.63%, Japfa Comfeed surged 5.85%, and Pakuwon Jati jumped 5.26%.
IDX has this morning resumed trading in shares of PT Kokoh Inti Arebama (KOIN) and halted trading in shares of PT Tanah Laut Tbk (INDX). (hans@theindonesiatoday.com)
