JAKARTA (Indonesia Today) – The Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) halted trading in PT Humpuss Intermoda Transportasi Tbk (HITS) today following report Shipping maintenance company PT Jasmanindo Sapta Perkasa files a Postponement of Debt Settlement Obligation (PKPU) against Humpuss.
IDX said the trading halt aims to avoid unfair trading prompted by PKPU issue.
Jasmanindo has filed two subpoenas, in September 6th and 13th, however the debts remain unpaid, prompted the company to have filed a PKPU in October 2nd. (hans@theindonesiatoday.com)
