JAKARTA (Indonesia Today) – State pharmaceutical company PT Kimia Farma Tbk (KAEF) booked net profit of Rp81 billion in the first half of 2012, doubled from Rp39.96 billion in the corresponding period of 2011.
Revenue increased to Rp1.58 trillion from Rp1.41 trillion a previous year while cost of good sold rose to Rp1.08 trillion from earlier Rp995.56 billion.
Gross profit was Rp507.43 billion while operating profit reached Rp117.62 billion.
As of June 2012, its assets totaled Rp1.91 trillion while liability amounted Rp596.8 billion. It has cash and cash equivalent of Rp104.77 billion. (hans@theindonesiatoday.com)
