JAKARTA (Indonesia Today) – Composite index of the Indonesia Stock Exchange gained 0.2% at 4,225.95 this morning in line with gains in regional markets.
In Wall Street, the Dow industrials ended slightly higher on Thursday (Sept 20) in a sign that investor sentiment remains generally positive despite several weak manufacturing surveys from around the world. While European markets closed flat on Thursday.
Nymex crude oil price ??inched up 0.09% to US$91.94 per barrel in Asian trading this morning.
In Asia, Hang Seng gained 0.75%, KOSPI rose 0.53%, Nikkei increased 0.58%, Shanghai lifted 0.43%, All Ordinaries hiked 0.37% and ??Straits Times added 0.3%.
In Jakarta, Matahari gained 1.92%, HM Sampoerna rose 1.35%, Resources Alam advanced 0.82%, while Bumi Resources dropped 2.33%. (hans@theindonesiatoday.com)
