Marzuki Alie, House speaker and politician from Demokrat Party, has been wiped out of the competition Wednesday (Sept 19).??
“Only two candidates meet requirements for the job: Icuk and Gita,” said Kusdanto, head of PBSI’s national convention, as quoted by Detik.com.
Icuk Sugiarto, former badminton star, was expert staff of then sports minister Adhyaksa Dault. Golkar Party chairman Aburizal Bakrie has openly expressed his support for Icuk in the race.??
