JAKARTA (Indonesia Today) – Cigarette giant Gudang Garam (GGRM) has on Sept 21 2012 set up new subsidiary PT Surya Inti Tembakau, to support GGRM’s core business.
The unit will focus on tobacco processing business with GGRM’s issued and paid-up capital reaching Rp149.9 billion or 99.9% ownership.
GGRM is owned, directly and indirectly, by Wonowidjojo family. GGRM now has 99.9% ownership in four subsidiaries; PT Surya Pemenang, PT Surya Madistrindo, PT Graha Surya Media and PT Surya Air. It also indirectly owned another 18 companies.??
GGRM lost 1.38% to Rp46,600 per share on Monday (Sept 24). At this price, it has market capitalization of Rp89.66 trillion. (hans@theindonesiatoday.com)
