JAKARTA (Indonesia Today) – Composite index of Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) retreated 0.63% Friday (Aug 24) morning to tracking regional markets.

Most blue chip stocks were under pressure of profit taking, led by Telkom, which lost 2% in the opening minutes of trading. Semen Gresik also down 2%, while Bumi Resources and Adaro Energy lost more than 2% each.

Bell weather Astra International lost another 0.7%, while BCA and Mandiri down 0.63% and 1.2% respectively. Telecom giant XL Axiata was the only gainer with 4.38%.
