JAKARTA (Indonesia Today) – Leighton Holdings Limited generated A$780 million of operating revenues in Indonesia for the first six months of 2012 or about 39% of the company’s total operating revenue in Asia and Middle East.

Indonesian operations reported 38% growth over first half of 2011 at A$566 million. As of June 30, 2012, total work in hands in Indonesia reached A$9.02 billion, increased from A$7.1 billion in June 30, 2011.

Among its customers in Indonesia are PT Arutmin Indonesia (for Senakin and Satui coal mines), PT Kaltim Prima Coal (for Sangatta), PT Bayan Resources for FKP coal mine and GBP coal mine, PT Tamtama Perkasa for Muara Teweh coal mine, PT Mahakam Sumber Jaya, and PT Marunda Graha Mineral.

Leighton Holdings Limited reported revenues of A$9.1 billion in the first six months of 2012, down 10.4% from six months to December 2011. Profit, meanwhile, slashed 69.3% in the period.
