JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – Composite index of Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) opened lower by 2.8% to 3858 Wednesday (August 28) morning to tracking global market.
Peers were also in red zone led by Nikkei 225, which fell almost 2%. Hang Seng also lost 1.51% in the opening hour, while Straits Times Index down 1%.
Australia’s All Ordinaries also down 1%, while Shanghai and KOSPI composite slipped 0.8% and 0.4% respectively.
Earlier on Tuesday, Dow Jones Industrial Average (DJIA) ended lower by 1.14%, while Nasdaq composite plummeted 2.16%. In Europe, FTSE 100 also closed lower by 0.8%.
