JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – PT Bank Mega Tbk (MEGA) posted net profit of Rp245.26 billion in first half (H1) of this year, dropped 73% from Rp909.54 billion in the same period of last year.
Operating profit fell 69% to Rp303.37 billion from previous Rp986.16 billion. Net interest income declined 18.8% to Rp1.38 trillion from Rp1.7 trillion in first half of 2012.
The bank disbursed loan of Rp25.47 trillion during first half of this year, also dropped 17.8% from previous Rp30.99 trillion. Loan to deposit ratio (LDR) declined to 57.51% from earlier 62.73%.
