JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – State pharmaceutical company PT Kimia Farma Tbk (KAEF) has secured loan facility commitment of Rp1.3 trillion from one foreign bank.

Djoko Rusdianto, KAEF’s corporate secretary, said the company now review its spending for expansion inline with loan support.

The company has initially allocates capital expenditure (capex) of Rp1.3 trillion for 2014, including to fund the expansion of plant capacity which will cost Rp760 billion.

KAEF also plans to raise Rp700 billion through rights issue of maximum 20% shares. The company also plans to issue bond worth Rp1 trillion in third quarter of this year. (yohanneso@yosefardi.biz)
