Kompas.com reported the floods hit the mall’s parking lot and ground floor in the past four days. Management of the mall predicted daily loss of Rp25 billion.

As of Sunday (January 20), the floods receded, but portion of the parking lot was still filled with 50cm water. This is one of about 40 locations of floods in Bekasi City, which forced 11,000 people to leave their homes.

Some tents for refugees are built in front of the mall. (Indonesia Today)
