The benchmark April 2013 contracts gained RM15 to RM2430, while May and June contracts edged up to RM2449 and RM2469 per ton respectively. February and March contracts, meanwhile, gained RM10 and RM19 respectively.

Plantation shares, on the other hand, lost ground in Jakarta as Sampoerna Agro dropped almost 2%, while Astra Agro Lestari down 1.5%. Bakrie Sumatra Plantation also down 1%.

In Singapore, Wilmar advanced 0.27%, but Indofood Agri, Golden Agri-Resources, and First Resources dropped 1.52%, 0.8%, and 1% respectively. In Kuala Lumpur, Sime Darby and PPB lost 0.4% and 0.3% each. (Indonesia Today)
