JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – PT XL Axiata (EXCL) will sell 231.1 million shares, or 2.7% of its enlarged capital, and targets to raise proceeds of minimum Rp1.22 trillion.
The company assignes Mandiri Sekuritas to facilitate the share divestment, to be done within next 2 weeks. EXCL earlier bought back 2.7% shares from shareholders who rejected the acquisition over PT Axis Telekom Indonesia at price of Rp5280 per share, or Rp1.22 trillion in total.
The company allocates capital expenditure (capex) of Rp7 trillion for this year, compared to Rp8 trillion last year.
EXCL booked revenues of Rp5.5 trillion in first quarter of this year, grew by 10% from Rp5 trillion in the same period of last year. While net profit rose 20% to Rp378.9 billion from previous Rp315.5 billion.
