JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – PT XL Axiata Tbk (EXCL) suffered loss of Rp901 billion in first nine months of 2014, due to higher infrastructure expenses. It booked profit of Rp917 billion in the same period of 2013.
Revenues grew by 11% to Rp17.5 trillion from previous Rp15.8 trillion. While infrastructure expenses jumped 43% to Rp6.28 trillion.
Repair and maintenance expenses from third parties that are more than 10% of total infrastructure, sales and marketing and supplies and overhead expenses represent network managed services expenses from PT Huawei Services for the nine-month periods ended 30 September 2014 amounting to Rp1.18 trillion (2013: Rp982 billion).
EXCL has huge cash of Rp3.1 trillion. Its assets totaled Rp57.87 trillion while liability amounted Rp43.9 trillion.
