JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – PT XL Axiata Tbk (EXCL) allocates capital expenditure (capex) of Rp7 trillion for 2016, mostly to fund the development of long term evolution (LTE) system network and 3G network.

The company also allocates capex of Rp7 trillion for 2015. The capex for next year will be sourced from the company’s internal cash. EXCL expects to book higher Ebitda this year, compared to Rp8.62 trillion Ebitda last year.

EXCL also mulls to issue Islamic bonds (sukuk) worth Rp2 trillion in the fourth quarter of this year. It also plans to sell its telco towers. Currently EXCL has 5,000 units of telco towers.
