JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – PT XL Axiata Tbk (EXCL) posted net profit of Rp378.98 billion in first quarter of this year, grew by 20% from Rp315.51 billion in the same period of last year.
Revenue increased 9.8% to Rp5.51 trillion from previous Rp5.02 trillion. Revenue from data and VAS rose 29% to Rp1.27 trillion. While voice revenue was Rp1.87 trillion and SMS revenue reached Rp1.09 trillion. Revenue from interconnection service totaled Rp787.1 trillion and revenue from other telecommunication services amounted Rp446.09 billion.
Total expenses also rose 1.1% to Rp4.42 trillion. Financial cost increased to Rp556.6 billion from earlier Rp223.27 billion.
Its assets grew by 50% to Rp60.74 trillion while liability totaled Rp46.26 trillion. The company has cash and cash equivalent of Rp2.47 trillion.
