JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – State construction frim PT Wijaya Karya Tbk (WIKA) revises up its profit target for this year, to 25.3% growth, to Rp940 billion from initial target of Rp750 billion profit.
Compared to 2015’s profit (Rp625 billion), the profit target for this year is 50.39% growth. The company targets to book new contracts of Rp52.8 trillion this year. In first half, the new contracts reached Rp22.73 trillion or 43% of target. Compared to first half 2015, the new contracts jumped 106%.
WIKA also plans to launch the initial public offering (IPO) of its units, PT Wika Realty and PT Wika Gedung, targeted in the fourth quarter of this year and first quarter of next year. WIKA will also launch the rights issue for 4.03 billion new shares, targeting to raise Rp6.14 trillion.
