JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – State construction firm PT Waskita Karya Tbk (WSKT) targets to book profit of Rp1 trillion this year on the back of revenue growth.
The company plans to launch rights issue program in June this year, targets to raise proceeds of Rp1.8 trillion..
The government also plans to in inject capital of Rp3.5 trillion to WSKT. The government now holds 67.76% stake in WSKT.
After rights issue, WSKT’s equity will jump by threefold to Rp7.9 trillion from current Rp2.6 trillion.
In 2014, WSKT booked revenue of Rp10.4 trillion, grew by 7.43% from Rp9.68 trillion in 2013.
WSKT also mulls to seek syndicated loan of Rp4 trillion from banks, used to fund toll construction project for Bekasi-Cawang-Kampung Melayu (Becakayu) section. It had obtained Rp850 billion loan from Lembaga Pembiayaan Ekspor Indonesia (LPEI) or Indonesia Eximbank.
