JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – State construction firm PT Waskita Karya Tbk (WSKT) is optimistic to achieve its growth target for this year though the economy is slowing down.

M. Choliq, WSKT’s president director said his company will not revise down growth target for this year as the economic slowdown is expected to be temporer. WSKT keeps expanding, including acquiring toll road projects, Choliq said.

WSKT targets to book contracts of Rp30 trillion until end of this year. It had booked contracts of Rp10.7 trillion in the first half of this year.

The company targets to book revenue of Rp15 trillion this year, jumped by fourfold from Rp3.18 trillion in 2014. In first half of 2015, WSKT booked revenue of Rp3.98 trillion.

WSKT also targets to book net profit of Rp800 billion this year. It recorded Rp158 billion net profit in the first half, grew by 167% from Rp59 billion in the same period of 2014.
