JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – State construction firm PT Waskita Karya Tbk (WSKT) targets to book new contracts of Rp18.7 trillion this year, a 41.6% growth compared to Rp13.2 trillion last year.
The company is seeking projects overseas such as in Timor Leste, Madinah, and Dubai.
WSKT also targets to book revenue of Rp11.8 trillion this year and net profit of Rp443 billion, up 21.9% and 20.3% respectively. It booked net profit of Rp368 billion in 2013, jumped 45% from 2012 even though sales revenue grew only 10%.
Now the company is working on Rp21.9 trillion contracts including airport terminal at Soekarno-Hatta, Cengkareng, under joint operation scheme, with value of Rp1.6 trillion. WSKT allocates capital expenditure (capex) of Rp860 billion for this year.
