JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – State construction firm PT Waskita Karya Tbk (WSKT), through its unit PT Waskita Toll Road, acquired 38.5% shares of PT Waskita MNC Transjawa Toll Road (WMTTR) from PT Sembilan Benua Makmur owned by PT MNC Toll Road.
WSKT has injected Rp757.5 billion into WMTRR which now develops 3 toll road sections; Kanci-Pejagan, Pejagan-Pemalang, and Pasuruan-Probolinggo.
Kanci-Pejagan has been on operation while Pejagan-Pemalang is targeted to complete construction in 2016.
WSKT also now seeks loan of Rp2-3 trillion from state banks, to fund the construction of light rail transit (LRT) in Palembang which costs Rp5 trillion.
