JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – People are grateful as the Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) has officially announced on Thursday (April 3) that warning of a possible tsunami in Indonesia following the 8.2 magnitude quake struck Tuesday evening (April 1) off coast of northern Chile is ended.
The BMKG, through its official twitter account @infoBMKG, delivered the message this morning.
The BMKG has Wednesday (April 2) issued an early warning of possible tsunami in Indonesia following the Chile’s earthquake.
The BMKG said the possible tsunami with height of 0.5 meter might struck 115 locations in 19 provinces across the country. (haryantos@yosefardi.biz)
