JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – Vice President Jusuf Kalla is scheduled to visit Japan to attend the Nikkei International Conference in Tokyo, Thursday (May. 21).

According to the official site of the Vice President of the Republic, VP Kalla will depart from the Soekarno-Hatta International Airport to Tokyo this evening.

Prior to his visit to Japan, VP Kalla will receive the visit of the President of the World Bank Jim Yong Kim at the Vice President office this morning at around 10:00 am of Jakarta time. He will also receive the representatives of the United Nations Refugee Agency (UNHCR) and the International Organization for Migration.

Kalla will also join the limited cabinet meeting with President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo this afternoon at the Presidential office to discuss the Light Rail Transit (LRT) project and the progress of the China and Japan’s investment in Indonesia. (haryantosuharman@yosefardi.com)
