JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – Vice President Jusuf Kalla, 73-year-old, got a medical treatment at the Cipto Mangunkusumo Hospital (RSCM) in Salemba, Central Jakarta, since Wednesday (Sep. 9).
Spokesperson of VP Kalla Husain Abdullah, however, told Kompas.com this morning that the doctor team has suggested Kalla to return to home today. Should Kalla want to start his activities, Husain said the doctor team advised Kalla to receive his guests at his residence.
Husain was reluctant to confirm the rumor saying Kalla was treated for heart ring operation. He said Kalla only took a routine medical check up at the RSCM.
President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo has reportedly also visited Kalla at RSCM last night after announcing the economic policy package to respond the economic slowdown at the State Palace. (haryantosuharman@yosefardi.com)
