JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – Shares of retailer Matahari Department Stores (LPPF) dropped 6% this morning as volatility remains in the market.
The stock rallied from around Rp11,500 in early July to as high as Rp14,500 later of the month, but then dropped to below Rp11,500 late last month.
The stock rebounded to Rp12,450 on Friday (August 30), but dropped 6% this morning.
Sister Matahari Putra Prima (MPPA) also down 1.16% this morning, while competitor Ramayana Lestari down 1%.
In the sector, ACE Hardware and Erajaya gained 1.4% and 3.8% respectively, while Mitra Adiperkasa and MOdern International gained 0.5% and 1.3%.
Trading volume, however, was relatively small compared to shares in other sectors.
