JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – Visi Media Asia (VIVA), parent company of TVOne and ANTV, dropped further by 26.58 in the opening hour of trading on Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) Tuesday (August 21). On Tuesday (August 20), VIVA dropped 24%.
More than 73 million shares exchanged hands while some blue chip stocks regained grounds. The stock has lost almost 77% its value year-to-date.
Media Nusantara Citra (MNCN), controlled by Hanura politician Harry Tanoesoedibjo, meanwhile regained 1.85%. MNCN is parent of RCTI and GlobalTV. Global Mediacom, parent of MNCN, also bounched back, gained 1.69%.
