JAKARTA (Indonesia Today) – Shares of consumer goods giant PT Unilever Indonesia (UNVR) Tbk lost almost 7% this morning with heavier trading volume.
More than 5 million shares were exchanged hands, substantially higher than the average daily trading of 1 million shares in the past three months.
The stock has left its peak at Rp28,500 in September to Rp24,200 this morning. Unilever Indonesia, however, gained substantially from around Rp18,000 in December 2011.
At Rp24,200, Unilever Indonesia has market capitalization of Rp184.6 trillion or about US$19 billion, sixth largest on IDX behind Bank Mandiri and Telekomunikasi Indonesia. (Indonesia Today)
