JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – The undisbursed loan of banks grew by 9.73% to Rp1.24 trillion in the first half of 2015, compared to Rp1.13 trillion as at December 2014. This undisbursement represents 32.5 of total credits.
In June 2015, the banks’ non performing loan (NPL) reached 2.56%, reflecting a difficult time for banking sector in during the first half of 2015.
The commercial banks’ loan disbursement totaled Rp3,828.04 trillion in the first half period while third party funds reached Rp4,319.75 trillion. Loan to deposit ratio (LDR) of commercial banks was 88.46%.
