SYDNEY (Yosefardi) – Triangle Energy (Global) Limited has been granted a six-month extension as temporary operator of Pase Block, Aceh, Indonesia.
The extension was granted by SKK Migas on August 24, 2013 until the definitive operator is appointed.
Triangle has operated and produced gas from the Pase field since 2009. The field was initially operated by ExxonMobil.
Triangle, listed on Australia Stock Exchange (ASX), has submitted applications to become a permanent operator of the block. It has also entered into partnership with Aceh government, but central government has yet to make final decision.
